My Hubby and I got engaged on October 26th.
Everything started off happily… AS IT SHOULD BE!!
My Hubby and I set a date and chose our wedding party, and began planning.
Two of my bridesmaids, got dismissed… [long story, most of you already know]
Then…The raise I was promised was denied. I am still getting paid less than even some of the worst employees that have worked here.
Then… Our rent was raised, so we put down a deposit to move into a place that was more worth our new rental rate.
Then… we put a deposit on our honeymoon suite.[Now, at this point.. we have spent all of our savings and all of our tax refund on deposits to do with our apartment & our honeymoon]
Then… Cris’s pay got reduced, not because of anything he has done, but because his mom is on a power trip and loves being in control of her son’s bad luck. [the same day as our deposits all went out]
Now let’s recap, shall we?
Since getting engaged:
• We have less friends,
• We have less trust in our other friends,
• We have less pay coming in,
• We have less security in our jobs,
• We have more stress about money,
• We have less security in our home,
• We do not have enough income to save for a honeymoon.
Isn’t this supposed to be a happier time???
Aren’t we supposed to be starting off a family, and shouldn’t we be moving forward, instead of backward???
This string of bad luck better change soon, or I my stress level is gonna give me a heart attack!!!
